Ligustrum lucidum (scientific name: Ligustrum) ×  Vicaryi Rehder) is a plant belonging to the genus Ligustrum in the family Oleaceae. It is a hybrid of Ligustrum lucidum in Phnom Penh, California, and Ligustrum lucidum in Europe. Deciduous shrub, 2-3 meters high. Its shoots have short hairs. Leaf leathers thin, simple leaves opposite. The new leaf is golden yellow, so it is named Phnom Penh privet. The old leaf is yellow green to green. Panicles, flowers bisexual; The drupe is oval, containing a seed, and the color is black purple. The flowering period is from May to June and the fruiting period is from October.

Growth habit:

Ligustrum lucidum likes light, but has poor negative tolerance, moderate cold tolerance and strong adaptability. It is best to cultivate in loose and fertile sandy soil with good permeability.

Curing method:

The seedlings of Ligustrum lucidum are drought resistant. In case of severe drought, they can be watered properly, but the water should be less, so as not to cause the seedlings to grow in vain and affect the growth and development of the plants. Water should also be properly watered during the flowering period to prevent flower falling due to insufficient water.
