Cinnabar (scientific name: Osmanthus fragrans cv 'Zhusha'): it is a variety group of Osmanthus fragrans. It is a tree with a height of 5 meters, a crown width of 3 meters, a round crown, a medium density, a light gray bark, relatively smooth, sparse pores and a shape. Different sizes. The leaves are lanceolate, 10-15 cm long and 3.5-4.0 cm wide. The leaves are dark green, with serrations on the whole edge or at the top. The side veins are 7-11 pairs, with general growth, good stem shape and red tender tips. The flowering period is August, which is ahead of autumn laurel. The flowers are red and the petals are 4-6 mm. There are 6-8 flowers per bud. The flower volume is large and the flower flavor is strong. The flowering period is about 15 days.

Growth habit:

The growth of cinnabar Cinnamomum is vigorous in childhood, and the growth of cinnabar Cinnamomum in adulthood is not as good as that of other Cinnamomum Cinnamomum varieties. The crown of cinnabar Cinnamomum is empty for a long time, and the negative tolerance is poor. In addition, this variety is not very cold resistant, and the leaves often wither and fall off in the cold winter.

Curing method:

"Two less and one more" should be mastered in watering, that is, less watering before new shoots occur, less watering in rainy days, and more watering in dry weather in summer and autumn. It is appropriate to keep about 50% of the water content of the basin soil for watering at ordinary times. Especially when flowering in autumn, if the pot soil is too wet, it is easy to cause flower falling. Pay attention to inspection on rainy days. If there is water in the basin, it is necessary to pour water on the side of the basin in time to avoid root rot after a long time.
